Dr. Maria Nicoleta Udrea, MD

Dr Udrea is always friendly, warm and caring. She is professional and thorough. Visiting the ob/gyn is not the most enjoyable experience for a woman, but she always manages to make me feel at ease and takes time to listen, and explain things. I would highly recommend Dr Udrea to any woman.

Went through many doctors before i found her. I’m sincerely so grateful to work with her. She’s knowledgeable, has an awesome personality, and really listens to her patients. I always recommend her to everyone.

After waiting one hour apt began and the nurse went over my meds which had duplicated in the system. Dr. Udrea then entered and went on the computer and said wow you are on a million drugs which was not appropriate. They had duplicated again and she remedied. Later in the appt she made another remark about my million meds.

I have been seeing Dr Udrea since she had joined the practice. She takes time with you and always asks "do you have any questions" "anything you want to discuss" . Not typically behavior of most doctors. The office staff at the West Penn Hospital office are great very friendly. It is a drive for me to get there but the drive is worth it when you find a good physician.

Dr Udrea is a very warm and friendly doctor that takes time with her patients. I am very confident in her competency.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Udrea today and she was wonderful! She was very thorough and has a wonderful bedside manner. I would highly recommend her!

Dr. Udrea is a good doctor however the office staff (sec. and aides are rude.) The wait time to be seen actually by the doctor could be much better

The office staff was rude. I waited almost an hour without anybody from the office telling me she had gone up to delvier a baby, luckily I overheard another lady leaving the office because she couldn't wait all day either. I'm disappointed they took no consideration.

I couldn't ask for a better doctor. Background: Another doctor delivered my child via C-section after 27 hours of stalled labor (Induction). Immediately thereafter, the wound did not/would not close on one side. I was instructed to go home after 4 days, then come back to get the would checked out. Within that week, the original doctor who delivered my son left the practic and Dr. Udrea took over my care. I have to say she is THE most caring, thorough, honest doctors I have met. She was frank about my recovery time, always made me feel better about my concerns about the fact that I had a three inch long 2 inch deep hole in my body and made me feel like I was really going to get better. Three months later, I healed. She has been my OB-GYN ever since and I would never consider using anyone else. I cannot say enough good things about the care I have received from Dr. Udrea and encourage anyone who is having a child in the Pittsburgh area to use her as your trusted OB-GYN.
