Dr. Maria Luisa Wing, MD

I have been going to Dr. Wing for many years and find her to be very knowledgeable and up on new technology in the medical field. She recommends good specialists when I need to see someone and above all she is compassionate.

Yesterday afternoon, the day before my scheduled (3 month in advance) physical, I got a call that my appointment was cancelled and that I should reschedule. I called first thing this morning only to find out that the next available time with Dr. Wing would be in 2 1/2 months. So that makes 5 months for a routine physical. Is this considered acceptable? Not only that, I would naturally have to go for a third time for (fasting) blood drawing and urine sample because the first samples were "compromised". I was offered the usual alternative of being examined by a PA. The one time I agreed to that, I was sent to a Urologist for batteries of tests which found nothing wrong. So much for following protocols which is what a PA with no previous patient shared experience does.

I referred my family members and friends and they were very pleased with the care.

The office is chaos. Noisy, rude and unprofessional. The doc seems fair but the office is a zoo. I was hoping it would be better now that they joined white plains......more if the same. Same people, same chaos. I'll be looking elsewhere

Dr Wing is an excellent and caring professional. She treats her patients as individuals, not insurance claims.

Generally, the office staff simply executes the doctor's policies. They are not to blame. The doctor sets the tone and is responsible for the attitude and behavior of the staff.

Extremely rude office staff. Long wait always. Hard to get on the phone. I am not going back to this office.

Dr Wing is know to be an excellent diagnostician. She has made the correct diagnosis when others failed to do so.She has a kind bed side manner and cares about her patients. Overall she is a real healer.

Dr. Wing is outstanding. She is one of the best Internist in Westchester. She loves medicine and loves her patients. Her staff is rude and grossly mismanaged. The practice is far too busy for the office they share with other practices and the front desk is chaos. Her receptionist Pat, although the most knowledgeable in her office, needs to find a new job where she does not have to deal with people (especially those people who do not feel well or are worried about someone who is not feeling well). Her receptionist Marie is sweet and helpful but lacks the experience that Pat has. What Marie lacks in insurance knowledge and / or administrative detail, she far surpasses the others at that front desk with common courtesy and customer focus. I guess somewhere along the way, some employers lost the vision of having a courteous face to the world reception staff. As for the remainder of her front desk staff, USELESS.Nursing staff seams to be courteous and competent. There is someone… named Veronica who does a significant amount of Dr. Wings follow-up calls and is a WITCH!There is a phantom billing department which has a toll free number, but is impossible to reach. Suggestion: Pay for everything upfront or you will regret it when having to contact Dr. Wings billing department.Although you are in great medical hands with Dr. Wing, you might find yourself suffering from estrogenically induced hypertension, ulcers, agita, or god forbid, a sever brain hemorrhage due to dealing with Dr. Wings staff. Could this be why her practice is so busy????
