Dr. Maria D Yerovi, MD

Dr. Yerovi came highly recommended to us. We have never had a problem getting an appointment, and I have never been in the waiting room/ patient room "waiting" for longer than 5 minutes. She schedules newborns/ well visits when sick kids aren't there, she and her staff answers questions (even over the phone) and we have never felt rushed!

Dr.Yerovi had a great practice when I first started with them. I'm really disappointed with the rude office staff and how hard it is to get an appointment with the doctor in the current years. The doctor stacks so many patients back to back it's like a revolving door appointment. You are in and out pretty quickly. They bring you in to one of their many rooms and have you wait as the doctor makes her rounds. I have heard the staff and patients speaking negatively about other patients in the hallway. The level of professionalism is poor with the receptionists. I have recommended this doctor to friends and I've heard the same with them. I would not recommend this doctor or office.

The staff is rude and unwilling to work with the parents. Dr. Yerovi herself could not find pneumonia in my 2 year old daughter's lungs (had to take her to the hospital the same night). Always runs out of the room quickly.

We have waited for the first appointment wih her for almost a year. She doesn't take new patients often but it's a good thing once you become one- never overcrowded, never long wait

Great pediatrician. Experienced, knowledgable, approachable, and the kids love her. She is caring and to the point, and knows what she's doing all around. She's been both of my kids' peditrician for over 7 years.

I don't recommend this doc! I heard from other perents about Dr. Yerovi and decided to go for my kids. Her staff was really rude. They scheduled me incorrectly and then when I waited for 30mins to talk to the Doc, she was rude. Her staff told me it was my fault for the incorrect appointment scheduling. It was a BAD experience and now know.

I searched and searched for a pediatrician who would be all the things we were looking for who accepted our insurance. I narrowed it down to three (Rosen, Schlacter, and I found Yerovi's name by chance on a parenting forum). Yerovi was the only one who accepted our insurance, and she was still taking new babies, so we went with her. Best choice we ever made! The staff is great, the waits are practically non-existent because she doesn't overbook, she is professional and attentive but also has a great sense of humor. I also really appreciated one time when our son was there at the end of the day, there was an older child with chicken pox coming in. She had scheduled him last so that he wouldn't spread the virus around to the other kids, and very nicely asked the mother if she would mind waiting in the car for a minute with her child while our baby was finishing up. The other parent was also very understanding, all the parents seem to appreciate these little things! Dr. Yerovi is very… supportive of a parent's choices and helps us explore all our options. She is never pushy or abrasive. And she genuinely cares! We're moving soon and are so sad to leave this wonderful doctor!

Her staff, too! I feel my son gets the best care possible from Dr Yerovi and staff.
