Dr. Marian Patricia Droba

I have found Dr. Droba to be unusually insightful, and overall remarkably intelligent. She is an excellent physician.

Dr Droba helped me survive one of the most difficult few days of my life in 2010. My son was a patient of hers and on his advice I called her the first time as she, not known by me, was on her way to go attend a work function out of time. I started talking to her voicemail and almost immediately she picked up the phone, introduced herself and listened to me and all that I was experiencing, no sleep for 3 days, hallucinations, extreme anxiety, fear and suicidal thoughts. She immediately changed for medication, told me to inform my Dr why she was changing the meds and asked me to meet her a few days later on her return. Also told me who I should call in her absence and what to do to ease the horrible, scarey symptons that almost led me to take my life. She is unique, she wants to assist me to learn life skills and not only expect the meds to improve my life, she does not want me dependent on her but to see with her as my needs change over time in my healing. She listens very… carefully to what I have to say and takes incredible detailed notes at every session. She never keeps other clients waiting after me and often she will let me be with her longer than we originally planned. I find her calm, trustworthy, honest, patient, an amazing listener, sensible, available through phone, and online. She allows me to cry but does not allow me to prolong any pity party time, teaches me skills like breathing and mental exercises which increase the effectiveness of the medications she prescribes. She also adjusts my medications as the seasons that I am going through in my life change as well.
