Dr. Mariana Rodica Gigea, MD

We have known this practice for many years. It is an extremely caring practice. Never rush us and have wonderful bedside manner. Dr Gigea is fantastic. She knows how to get to the cause of the issue and then resolve it. I highly recommend them

Dr. Calma is great. Dr.Gigea is very nice, but when you walk into a room and say, "Who do we have here?" Probably a good idea to look at the chart before you open the door. The staff at front desk are the RUDEST, most insincere people I have ever met! They talk about patients at the desk too while there are patients in the waiting room. Michelle and Naomi, not very professional.

I've just had my last appointment with Dr. Gigea and I've been seeing her since I was born and that was 18 years ago. She's a great doctor and remembers my sisters and I, but we've been with her for a long time. I'll admit, the wait time is ridiculous (more than 30 minutes every time), and the staff is not at all nice. If she had a different staff and was much quicker I think her ratings would be much higher.

I like the doctors at this practice but the front desk or who ever answers the phone can be rude. I called to make an appointment for my child and was unsure of the procedure for transferring medical records from my previous pediatrician. The woman I spoke to on the phone scolded me for not knowing the correct procedure. She was very rude and not friendly, seriously considering going elsewhere.

I have to agree the the previous post. The staff is very nice, but waiting for over an hour with a sick child is unreasonable. The shortest wait we had was 45 minutes and it was an appointment, not the walk in clinic. It has become very hard to see Dr. Gigea and I do not have much faith in the new staff. I am currently looking for a new pediatrician.

My children have been patients for over 10 years and the last couple of years it seems to have gone downhill. Wait times are terrible and average 45 minutes to 60 minutes or more even with an appointment. Because she gets so far behind when they do come into the room I don't feel she takes the time she should with the children. One plus is that they have a sick clinic where you do not need an appointment to bring your sick child in you can just go there. The nurses are friendly but the billing department is pushy and not very understanding. My children like all of the doctors though. Dr Calma is their favorite.
