Dr. Maricela Selene Pacheco, MD

Dr. Maricela Selene Pacheco joined Conviva as a fellowship-trained, board-certified family medicine specialist. Dr. Pacheco performed her geriatric medicine fellowship at Christus Health-Spohn Texas A&M in Corpus Christi, Texas, following the completion of her family medicine residency at the same institution. She earned her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Science Center in El Paso, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas-Pan American in Edinburg, Texas. Dr. Pacheco's research includes Geospatial Analysis of Type 2 Diabetes Control in a South Texas Metropolitan Area Family Medicine Clinic Population, presented at the Society for Teaching Family Medicine Conference in Toronto, Canada. She served as a volunteer research assistant on studies including Analysis of Diabetes Education and Empowerment Program Implementation in a Hispanic Population and Disordered Eating Habits in Young Adulthood.
