Dr. Marie Christine Longo

We had a wellness check with Dr. Longo. She seems very hurry to finish our visit. We had a list of questions but she didn't explain to us patiently. After our vaccine, we fell still have questions for her. But was told she already left the hospital.

We brought our son in to be seen by Dr. Longo out of desperation when his PCP wasn’t available. Our son had been sick for 8 days with a cold and had recently developed a high fever that wasn’t going away. She told us it was “just a bad cold”. When I asked her about the possibility of a sinus infection she told me it was “practically impossible” because children don’t have certain sinus cavities until they are older and sent us on our way without even a plan for what to do if things worsen. Well, two days, a raging 104 degree fever, and an ER trip later, we found a real doctor who diagnosed a SINUS INFECTION in our poor, sick as a dog little guy; she literally laughed out loud when she heard we had been told it it was “practically impossible” and told us no, it absolutely is possible. I understand being conservative with antibiotics but I do NOT understand outlandish statements that are completely false. Never again, parents beware.
