Marie is nice and pleasant to talk with. But when it came time for prescriptions, she put me on a new medication (med 1) and after a month I starting to feel more anxious, and I already take anxiety meds (drug 1) for over a decade. She said let’s get through the winter, but another month goes by, and my anxiety was more than normal. When I mentioned this, she prescribed a daily long-term different class of anxiety med (drug. 2) when I asked to just to be taken off of med 1. I’ve never taken a short term drug 2 for anxiety. I also did not want a new daily drug 2 to offset the anxiety caused by med 1. Plus, I called the pharmacy across the street when there was a delay in filling this drug 2. The pharmacist told me that they haven’t had that particular one in stoke, but there was a pharmaceutical rep that came in several days prior, and that the pharmacies policy does not speak to them. Which is coincidental since that was the week she prescribed me this drug 2 and her office is across… the street from the from this pharmacy. I sent her an email and said I’m not taking the med 1 any longer and will not take drug 2 that the cause is med 1 she perceived 2 months prior. She said well it’s a low enough dose it did not need to wean off slowly. A month after stopping med 1 my anxiety got back to its normal level, did not need to continue med one nor take drug two to offset the effects from it. So I left this practice after this incident
