Dr. Marigangaiah Mahadev

Dr. Dev is by far the most caring, knowledgeable doctor I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. I feel comfortable and at home with him and his entire staff. There is never an issue getting a hold of him or getting into see him. They don't make doctors like him anymore. Anaheim Hills is very lucky!

When my pediatrician of over a decade did not believe my child was sick, I searched for one who could see my daughter the same day. After calling 4 others, I called Dr. Mahedev (Dr. Dev) and his wife answered the phone (small private practice which is total plus) she sensed the concern in my voice, told me to bring her in (even though it was the end of the day by then) and turns out my daughter had pneumonia and undiagnosed asthma! He even called the next day to see how she was doing! That was five years ago this April. This is not a cattle call type office that is overbooked and crowded. Majority of patients are referrals and the rare lucky ones like me that just happen to stumble upon him through a google search. They truly care about the child and the whole family (noticed my husband didn't look well on another occasion and gave him a check up right then and there!) they always find room if you want your child to be seen the same day (unless he's doing rounds at the hospital of… course). My kids (who normally were afraid of doctors) have even asked to go see "Dr. Dev" when ill knowing he would make them feel better by making them smile with his playfulness and getting a lollipop at the end (and two if they needed an immunization). Hands down our favorite doctor.

I have only been to this doctor twice but will never go back again. I thought it was quite strange that when I called to make an appointment I was able to get in right away on the same day for both appointments. There were no other patients in the waiting room and no sign in sheet. That should of been a clear sign that he isn't the best. He is so rude and so creepy. I was uncomfortable the entire appointment. The whole experience was just strange and I would never recommend him to anyone I know.
