Dr. Marilyn Eileen Conlon, MD

I have been a patient for many years. I have seen a lot of changes. Much improvement has been made in the office itself. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Conlon is a very smart lady.... probably a genius and that is why she doesn't know how to make patients feel at ease. She is very blunt and very confident in her opinions so if your a person that needs a nurturing and warm personality... Dr. Conlon is absolutely not right for you. She is old school medicine and old school manners. I am pretty sure she knows this about herself and that is why she has hired the very best nursepractioner and made her a partner. Barb is empathetic, warm and extremely personable yet maintains her professional demeanor and is the answer to Collin's bedside manner. Barb is the reason I came back and the reason I stay.

I found Dr. Conlon to be attentive and thorough in her assessment, treatment, and medication reviews/recommendations. She takes time to listen to concerns and offers support. She would not be in business in a small town very long if you believed all of the negative reviews. This doctor is highly competent and passionate about the care she provides.

Got me in when I was in dire need. Diagnosed me correctly. I now have a great treatment plan which I never had before.

The first words she said to me were "I'm going to make you pass out." How, in anyones right mind, is that supposed to make a teenager feel better about their mental health? She is very pushy with her medicine. She gave me options and I told her what I wanted to try, then she added more meds her own while she was writing the prescription. She also never actually told me what the medicine was supposed to do for me. When I went back to her and told her the meds weren't doing anything, she said "shame on you for not coming back sooner you've wasted time." She then tripled her previous prescription for and then said she had another patient. That new prescription never came through for the next 6 weeks, they forgot to send it in. As someone who is not from this state, but needed help quickly, I would give her negative stars if I could. Yes, she got me in very fast, but she is nothing but pushy and rude, and doesn't actually listen to anything that you're saying. She scares me a lot.

Did not consult with primary care doctor about medications which led to serious side effects. Did not monitor vitals. Lied about side effects and what reaction to medication would be. Unwilling to take patient needs or concerns into account. Rude, argumentative, know it all. Pushes unnecessary treatment to either increase revenue or satisfy her ego.

She told me to store medication in the wrong way. I tried to correct her and asked that she call the pharmacy to verify it but she kept insisting it be stored incorrectly. Her attitude was like she couldn't possibly be wrong and she's smarter than everyone else even the pharmacist or the manufacturer of the medication! The way she was telling me to store it would have resulted in getting incorrect dosages. She also kept changing how it should be administered, each time insisting that that is the only way it should be done or that they have rules and can't do it any other way even though at the previous visit it was a different way. She cost me a lot of money by lying to me about the cost of certain treatments which she insisted I had to have if I wanted to get necessary medical care at all. They weren't actually necessary at all. She also insisted that an injection in my buttocks should be with a 2inch needle in order to reach the muscle. I am fit and average weight (not overweight)… and both the pharmacist and the nurse said no way you only need an inch needle at most and anything more would be dangerous! Please avoid this doctor.

This doctor is scary. She is controlling and doesn't listen. She is rude and has an "I know it all" attitude! I think she is stressed out because she regrets her own life challenges and projects her anger issues along with her self-esteem issues on her patients. Thank heaven I found a good doctor and got away from Dr. Conlon. I think she needs more help than I did.

Not merely unhelpful, but downright dangerous. Staff is nice, the "doctor" is grotesquely incompetent and will suggest the most expensive treatment all the while knowing it won't help.

This. Dr. Is very unprofessional, her office never answer there phone, and took 2 weeks for refills on my medication.

Dr. Conlon is a horrid doctor. I was admitted psychiatrically to the hospital she works at and had the worst stay of my life under her care. She was callous, unsympathetic and did not seem to give a rats a** about how I would improve my quality of life. She has a huge ego and aims to threaten with it. She is approved to prescribe Suboxone, which is horrifying because I would not trust her to help with any addiction problems I have, as she is on a huge power trip 24-7. I would not recommend her care to my worst enemy.
