For a NP she has horrid bedside manner. She is gruff and not really understanding. Jamie has little tolerance. The office staff is scatter brained, unprofessional and very rarely know what they are doing.

I witnessed Dr. Ryan's approach to dealing with a patient that manages their diabetes effectively by not following her "one size fits all" approach. I never thought I'd see an endocrinologist actually upset about good blood sugars! She seems to have only one way of approaching diabetes and if it doesn't work for you, too bad! I feel sorry for any timid patients she might have who are dealing with the hardship of their disease under a doctor more interested in being "right" than in helping her patients have a healthy and comfortable life with diabetes.

Dr Ryan needs to update her education and learn the latest medical information that is now available. She is outdated therefore, the patient suffers due to her lack of knowledge. It is her responsibilty as a physician to keep herself informed on the latest medical research there is for her patients. She seems to work mostly with diabetics and not much with thyroid disorders.
