The office is horribly run. I waited for an hour and left in disgust. There were 4+ people working in the admin room, and not single person told me that there would be a wait. Not even after I asked about the wait. I hadn't imagined I would be waiting so long because the waiting room was empty. Can't imagine they give a sht about people here when they disrespect people's time like this.

I saw Dr. Jacobson over two years for persistent issues I was having with irregular periods and possible early menopause. She did not address my concerns, and other than telling me my tests were "within the normal range" for my "age" (41) she was not helpful at all. She proposed no solution for the fact that I was experiencing quality of life issues due to early menopause. She didn't seem concerned by the fact that early menopause puts a woman at much higher risk for osteoporosis and heart disease. She talked down to me and gave me extremely vague answers even though I had researched the issue and asked very informed questions. She really did not seem to care at all. I switched to a different provider who ran twice as many tests, and came up with a comprehensive 4 step approach to get me feeling my best. My other provider told me I was too young to be experiencing the symptoms of menopause (yes, thank you, I agree!) and agreed that the increased risk of bone loss was not acceptable.… She came up with a plan to keep up my hormone levels and delay menopause for another 10 years. Thanks to my caring and responsive doctor I was able to get the help that Dr. Jacobson didn't care to provide.

This happened to me and I hope it won’t happen to anyone. First of all, doctor Jacobson didn’t mention any shots during my last trimester. I asked for TDAP (because my friend got it from another doctor) and she said she would give it to me in the hospital when the baby was born. Unfortunately, I was sick she couldn’t give me in the hospital. My baby got whooping cough when she was 2 WEEKS OLD. We came back to the hospital and stayed for a month. When I did the valuation after delivered, my score was super low because I was so stressful. They DID NOT send me to any counselor (which they were supposed to). The doctor never said sorry or never gave me a phone call to ask how I was doing. If you want a healthy baby and a caring doctor, please do not come to this office!

Wow, where do I begin? My sister is a patient of Dr Jacobson and I’ve been going with her to all appointments. My obgyn is another prominent doctor from Englewood hospital and I can see a huge difference in the quality of service and the doctor’s level of knowledge/care. First of all, Dr Jacobson didn’t mention any shots that my sister needed to get during the last trimester. I had to actively ask questions and she kept saying not to worry about it, because they give these shots (tdap and flu) when the baby is born. Not true, babies can’t get flu shots until 6 months and the flu resistance is passed from mom through the shots she’s given during pregnancy. Dr Jacobson simply didn’t care to inform us, when we asked repeatedly she just said not to worry. We had to do our own research and ask my doctor, who gave us a detailed explanation of why pregnant women need to get these shots. Every obgyn office carries these shots’ chemical free, mercury free versions. We asked if this practice… has any, after multiple follow ups, they told us the shots will be in stock in a month. We had to get my sister’s shots done at CVS. Second, the service provided by the staff is the worst. They promise to call back, they never do. Today we called the office and asked to speak with the dr as my sister is sick and she’s 40 weeks pregnant. Wanted advice on what to do. The receptionist started giving her medical advice, which is against the law in N.J. We asked to speak with the dr. They said she’ll call back, she never did. Also last time when we inquired whether they have mercury-free flu shots in the office they also said they’ll call us and inform, they never did. We had to chase the manager on the phone by calling several times. Really annoying and unprofessional. On the other hand we really like Dr Santkovsky and been hoping she’ll get to deliver the baby. She’s very patient, caring and nice. We chose this practice because they speak Russian, but honestly, we regret it so much. Stay away. There are so many great doctors affiliated with Englewood hospital. Pick someone else. This practice obviously doesn’t care about the wellbeing of the patient.
