I am 61 years old and my psychiatric conditions are very well documented and my diagnosis is very clear. After 31 years of treatment, I am a very easy patient who only requires Maintenance medications. Unfortunately, I had to find a new psychiatrist after my former left the practice. I regrettably, chose Dr. Mariana Katz. She absolutely needs to retire. She DOES NOT listen well. She is rude, completely dismissive and will over talk you. She lacks empathy and compassion. I’ve never fired a Psychiatrist before her. Now I have to deal with the extra expense and hassle of finding a new psychiatrist.

She is condescending and blames everything on the patient. She is very disrespectful and shouldn’t be practicing at all. I feel horrible for her patients.

She is rude, abrasive, and uncaring. Do NOT see her if you have mental health issues, she'll make you feel like garbage for it. She'll push pills and that's it. Talk about a robot doctor. Avoid like the plague.

Worst excuse for a medical person I have ever had the misfortune to be subject to. UGH!!!

She seem cold - but it might be the cultural difference

I walked in and 3 minutes later Dr. katz let me know that "i would be very difficult to treat because it's all in my head" and handed me pills.She dissagreed with everything i had to say and looked away when she aswered me, which i found very strange and disrespectful.After the visit i felt much worse for quite a while.
