Dr. Marina Pizarro, MD

Visited with her for.my hair surgery. Was not impressed with her patient.before.and after pictures. They did not show impressive changes. She is not a.board.cerrified.surgeon and she was.not.clear with her answers to my questions. Left appointment feeling unconvinced.

Over the past 3 years, my hair has continued to fill in. I am so happy I did this! So worth the effort!

It has been 21 months since I had a hair procedure with Dr. Pizarro. My result has been fantastic. I now have a full hairline and the top and back of my head have nice thick hair. It was money well spent and I would do it all over again. Everything was explained to me before hand and I had no surprises. Very artistic work by the Doctor and her techs.

Charged me exorbitant amount and lied about plasma treatment and ultimate outcome of hair re growth. When I approached her (very dissatisfied) more than one year after my surgery, she tried to get me to do another surgery. But for only 8K. How sweet.

My experience was not good with Dr. Pizarro. She explained to me several times I would have a full head of hair but got nothing close to it after spending a lot of money. After a full year of waiting for results and not getting any, I asked for my money back and she only offered me a small amount compared to what I paid with the catch of signing a Non-disclosure form in order to keep this quiet and hide her terrible service and lack of results. After visiting with attorneys, they basically told me the time needed to present a case like this did not make financial sense so I decided to share my story instead to help others avoid this doctor. I would not recommend her to anyone after my experience.

I felt terrible about my thinning hair. I took my time researching hair loss and even tried some products but nothing worked. I searched few hair doctors and met with Dr. marina Pizarro. Was hesitant due to several bad reviews but she told me they were not accurate??? I trusted her and was attracted to lower price than others. End result was terrible, painful and a waste of money. I am mad at myself for trusting her and choosing lowest price. Don't make the same mistake as I did.

This place is absolutely horribe. I have had transplants in a Famous practice, and it was s much better experience. You will leave there feeping ripped off. I had no results and got an infection that took months to go away. Also she schedules no follow up appointments to track your progress! What does that tell you?

I have to agree with Larry, I had a hair transplant at the same place and the doctor was absent for most of the procedure even though she claims to participate in the entire process. The results are disappointing at best and the right side at the front of my face didn't hardly grow in at all and the left side just barely got results. I wouldn't use her either. If you look at previous bad reviews they always blame an ex employee!!

I had transplants about 5 years ago with Dr. Pizarro in my temple areas and I am very pleased with the results. I continue to have global hair loss which is beyond anyone's control, but I will definately consider Dr. Pizarro for any future treatments.
