Dr. Mario Eduardo Castellanos, MD

Dr Castellanus, is an Outstanding Surgeon who performed a very Complicated, high risk surgery on me. The Surgery was lengthily, as expected and I was kept comfortable and given excellent treatment and care with an Amazing outcome with much relief. I highly recommend Dr Castellanus, he is kind, Professional and a highly skilled Surgeon. 5 stars and above

Dr. Castellanos is the finest doctor I have ever been treated by. I could list over 100 things he did for me... but I will share just a few. He saved my life by listening to me, without judgement, and total compassion. By the time I was able to become a patient at the Pelvic Pain Clinic, I had already been hospitalized for 3 days months prior, been to countless urgent care visits, and had seen several other specialists who could not figure out what was wrong with me. I was passed around and felt unheard, in near constant pain and agony. If I didn't keep fighting to get to the best, Dr. Castellanos, I would not be here today. He is so knowledgeable, yet humble. I felt safe in his care every step of the way. When I first me Dr. Castellanos, I could tell that he was someone who was warm and feeling; someone who looks at his patients with humanity. He gave me hope, when others told me things such as "I am at a loss in how to help you" or "How is your home life?". Dr. Castellanos made my… husband and I both feel like we would get through this together, with evidence-based care and empathy. Dr. Castellanos is the exemplification of what medical professionals should be. I realize that what he did for me was his job, but he never made me feel like a patient, or a job. He validated all of my concerns, came up with a treatment plan, and started me on a new path to become pain free. It seemed so easy and logical for him, but I know that it was years of experience, and the fact that he is an exceptional individual. Dr. Castellanos and I are still working together, as my situation is not a get fixed quick "thing". I can tell you that I no longer feel scared or hopeless anymore. I have complete confidence in the care I am receiving and feel very excited about my future! Thank you so much Dr. Castellanos!!!

Dr. Castellanos was very kind and compassionate. He has a terrific bedside manner which sets patients at ease.

Dr. Castellanos took his time and explained everything to my husband and I. We had to travel to see him, but it turned out to be the right decision.
