I have been seeing Dr. Lanni for a few years. He listens to what I have going on and recommends things that are helpful. Feeling Judged comes with our issues, but listen to what he recommends and try it out. Good tools never hurt, they have kept me going.

Did not feel heard at all. He didn’t listen to my needs and it was a waste of time

The guy is judgmental and won’t stop talking. He thinks yoga and meditation solve all problems. When I tried to change doctors he became petty and vindictive.

When a patient finally decides to brave the stigma and goes in to share how and what they feel the last thing you want to feel is unwelcome. That is exactly what I experienced with Dr. Lanni on my first visit in addition to feeling judged. Subsequent visits weren’t any better. This doctor is knowledgeable but comes off extremely defensive and will talk over you every chance he gets. I get it, this is a difficult field to be in but ease off a bit. Listen to your patients, be neutral, don’t assume too much, and seriously think about the advice you give - not everyone is like you.
