Great Doctor and wonderful staff. Best decision I could have made. On day number 4 from surgery. I’m sore but already breathing much better. I highly recommend Dr. Gillespie .

He is very easy to talk with. Amazing surgeon. Staff very friendly. The only complaint would be the wait time.

I am very pleased with him. He took his time with me. I was scared and he was very understanding and gentle. I drive all the way from Little Rock, Ar to see him. It is worth the drive. I was a patient of Dr. Marion Boyd Gillespie for over 6 years while he was with MUSC. I felt confident under his care and have not found that anyone has yet to fill his shoes. He was caring, honest and thorough. He treated me for tracheal stenosis and other areas of breathing difficulty. He always made room in his very busy schedule to see me when I was having difficulty and explained my condition to my family as well in an understanding way. The nursing staff in the OR as well as in the department tell me this day that they miss him and that he is one of a kind. I could not agree more.

He was very nice and his office staff is nice as well. My surgery experience was HORRIBLE but, I knew the pros and cons before making my decision. This was the worst recovery after a surgery in my life. The only thing I would say that needs improving is the time they take in calling you call back. I would recommend Dr. Gillespie but, NOT THAT SURGERY!!

I felt very rushed. He would not look at me. He would not let me talk. I was confused by the visit.

He is the BEST ever, compassionate, caring, professional yet down to earth! He looks for the correct path based on the patient. Always smiling and never rushes you. Easy to understand and trust!
