Every time I come in for an appointment it’s like we’re there visiting the world renowned, Dr. Ciufalo! As opposed to my son being the patient needing care. She has a scripted monologue for every appointment and god forbid you try to ask a question! She does not like that. Not to mention the office staff is extremely aggressive at collecting minimal payments after already being paid out almost 95% by the insurance. She’s a single doctor practice so good luck getting an appointment if your child’s sick and doesn’t just need vaccines. This place is a total nightmare. Stay away!

To clarify the above situation, the patient mentioned was not seen at all for 2 years in our office while immunizations record given to the school nurse within those two years had false dates, inaccurate lot numbers and invalid doctors signature. We uphold the highest standards of integrity and expect the same from our patient population.

My previous comment should have only given Dr. Ciufalo one star. Definitely would NOT recommend!

Rather than take responsibility for an apparent administrative error on their part for missing one of my granddaughter's vaccination boosters which was caught later, Dr. Ciufalo and her staff sent a very cold, harsh letter to my daughter dismissing both my granddaughters as her patients, offering no apology and rationale. We were flabbergasted by their coldness and denial of error. Also, appointments are very hard to get since the doctor is rarely in.

Awful Doctor! Not thorough. Doesn’t really care about your child. Stay away!

She has been my doctor since both my kids were born, now 8 and 6. She is always nice and warming.

I have two children below three years. I am a physician from Europe and moved here 2 years ago. We chose Dr Ciufalo upon recommendation from Morristown Medical Center Paediatrics (as a physician with hospital experience, I find recommendations from hospitals who receive and see patients that get admitted from doctors' practices a reliable source of information - they see who makes wrong diagnoses, they see who sends children in too early or too late). As expected with children at that age, we have been in and out of Dr Ciufalo's practice 20 times and more. From my professional opinion, Dr Ciufalo is doing exactly what her job is: primary care for children: treat the everyday family practice issues, review and vaccinate children and refer them if she assess they need more specialized care. The other reviewer's disappointment over specialist referrals are nonsense. I have not found her wrong on diagnoses or assessments and I feel very comfortable knowing that my children's doctor will… consult specialists when they are needed. I have not experienced any scheduling or billing errors, and I seriously doubt that she was ever insensitive to any child - maybe to incourteous parents? In short, if like me you need a primary care physician for your children, I believe you can entrust them to her practice.
