Overall a "meh" experience with the doctor on the day of the visit. She wasn't very personable but was thorough with her questions and exam. She spent 20 minutes with us to determine there was nothing obvious wrong with my daughter didn't require additional tests or procedures. there were optional blood tests but we opted out. The BIG surprise was how much we were charged for the office visit. Apparently it is the norm to code and to charge the highest level complexity that can be billed regardless of the actual complexity. Lesson learned I should have asked what charges to expect before I made the appointment. Probably won't be an issue with patients that have co-pay insurance. Those with high deductible plans, ASK what will be charged before making the appointment. Patient beware.
