Dr. Marisa Dreisbach Maffett, MD

I've seen Dr. Maffett for years and it's always the same. She's ALWAYS late. Every single appointment I've had with ended up with me waiting at least an hour to see her (and I'm always early by 15 min) It's honestly a joke. I scheduled an appointment with her because after getting the IUD inserted I had chronic pelvic pain for months, over a year at this point. She completely brushed my concerns aside and assumed and pushed that it was my bowels causing me pain. I guess I'm not familiar with my uterus! I mentioned my weight also being a factor in this unusual pain because this can't be normal and she went on to scrutinize my diet and make assumptions about me and my lifestyle! Completely unprofessional and showed NO empathy towards my pain. She then read off my weight from each appointment? Also, I'm fairly thin for my height so for her to do this was ridiculous and to be frank, felt spiteful. She also talked so quickly and rushed my appointment, which for her I guess is normal. She… does not care, you're just another ticket in her queue.

I rarely write reviews but Dr. Maffett is truly one of the best doctors I have been to. She takes her time with you and listens to any concerns and is thorough. I am really happy I found her!

Dr. Marissa Moffett is absolutely wonderful to have for an obstetrician!!!! I've actually had 2 children and I was with this practice since I was 14 yrs old with female issues at such a young age and I was diagnosed with endometriosis at 19 and was prescribed birth control at just 14 due to extremely painful cycles and at that age being on the pill and with a male doctor (at that time being Dr. Harmon ) was about as pleasant as that particular experience could've been with my young age. I'm now 32 and have never left and a few yrs back Dr. Harmon left to become chief of staff at riverside hospital (i belive that was the correct job title ) and it was quite an honor and he more than earned that place due his amazing bed side manner and open minded , gentle personality! He recommended me to either Dr. Krantz or Dr. Moffett and I was able to schedule with her first and was sceptical because I loved my other doctor and I liked her so much that I've told everyone I know to go there and my… whole female relation is being seen there.
