Dr. Marisa Suppatkul, MD

Dr. Suppatkul has a conservative approach and does not over medicate. By sticking with and trusting in her process, the issues we were dealing with due to my son’s ADHD have been effectively treated. The results have been beyond our expectations and I’m amazed at how the medicine management plan/process created by Dr. Suppatkul has been so successful. This was not an overnight outcome, but took months to see results. Extremely grateful and happy to have found Dr. Suppatkul.

Doctor lacks any semblance of empathy for patients and rushes through the appointments. Charges double if the appointment goes over by a few minutes. You get 15 minutes to go over things in a follow-up appointment. For any issues brought up, that are not directly related to medication management or side effects, you are bluntly told to go find a therapist for that. When asked for recommendations for therapists, none are given. Fast food psychiatry; in and out as fast as possible without concern for overall patient well-being. Find someone else if you are wanting a warm, caring personality because this doctor doesn't have one.

I've been seeing Dr. Suppatkul for several months, and she has helped me with my anxiety a lot. She clearly cares and is invested in helping me. I've had a lot of issues with medication not working well or having bad side effects, and she's been with me every step of the way with what to do next. I feel like we're finally on a good course of treatment and I feel better than I ever have in my life. I'd recommend her to anyone.

I am very disappointed with this miscommunication by the staff. My visits were good until,the staff failed to communicate about the cost of my session. I have a insurance copay of 15.00 and that was over the phone or in person. Well without out being notified at all by mail and the office relying on word of mouth by the staff to communicate with patients in the person and over the phone sessions had changed to 80.00 because they were no longer able to charge insurance for over the phone sessions. To my surprise I was charged that amount. This was a policy change and if so, formal info should of been sent to me in the mail notifying me. I was offered 35.00 refund of my money. If I called you back to change my appt to an over the phone session thinking i would get charged 15.00 and no one still communicated with me about the policy change, that's a mistake on your staff's part. The patients should not pay for the offices mistake at all. This is a great disappointment for me that I will… not continuing going forward as a patient because of the negligence on the staffs part.

Thorough assessment, conservative and knowledgeable approach to psychopharmaceudicals. Does not overmedicate. Good empathy and quality of care.

Always very prompt and seems to really understand kids. She spends time discussing the various options in an easy-to-understand way.
