Dr. Marisol Eleanor Arcila, MD

It has been my misfortune to have been treated by Dr Arcila several times when my regular doctor of many years was unavailable. Although not familiar with my medical situation, Arcila regularly criticized my doctor's treatment plan and medications, reminding me that she was not obligated to prescribe accordingly. I came to doubt her intentions and professional integrity. Her manner, both dispassionate and abrupt, leaned toward the dispensing of strong opinion over the sensible sharing of knowledge regarding my case. Since she is a sports medicine specialist, she may be better qualified to treat patients with recent injuries rather than run amuck in the complex area of multi-faceted chronic pain. Regardless, I will not meet with her again.

I have had a terrible experience with Dr. Arcila. I have been a patient of this clinic for 20 years due to various serious medical conditions. After 6 months, this Dr. could not tell me what she was treating me for or why she was giving me pain meds. She has twice ordered epidurals for me and each time I've had to correct at time of procedure the area of my back or neck that needed the epidural. I am getting a new Dr. or P.A. at this clinic about every 6-9 months. It is obvious that the Dr.s are also unhappy at this clinic. They made a medical mistake on me that temorarily paralyzed me and I ended up in the hospital for several days. At this time, I discovered that this clinic did not have medical privledges at any of our hospitals!

i had a terrible experience with a doctor at this practice prior to seeing dr arcila. she took over his patients when he left. and i told myself i was going to find another pain doctor. after spending 5 minutes with dr. arcila, i knew that i wasn't going anywhere. she is wonderful. i have rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and degenerative disc disease and she has cut my pain down by 90%. it's amazing. she is very sweet and funny, too.
