Marissa Ferrao is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) with more than 2 years of experience in the mental health field. She finds meaning in helping adolescents and adults discover their truest potential. Marissa specializes in treating clients who are struggling with anxiety, addiction, life transitions, gender identity, and sexual violence. Marissa completed her Master's degree in Art Therapy and Counseling (MAATC) at Albertus Magnus College. She has worked with college students, military veterans, sexual violence victims/survivors, adults with substance use disorders, as well as clients with autism spectrum disorder. Her eclectic and integrative therapy approach is mostly humanistic and compassion focused. Everyone deserves to feel safe and that they belong in this world.
