Doctor always in a rush and doesn't seem to care

You spent your time longer waiting for the doctor and she sees u for only 10-15 min. The office overbooks on their schedule that's why the waiting room is always crowded. Staff is so/so, some doesn't know how to draw blood. She doesn't call u for test or lab results and when u ask for a copy they charge you!

All this doctor cares about is collecting from insurance. She's very irresponsible when it comes to renewing your prescriptions. I have diabetes and it's critical that I should have a steady supply of my medications. Many times I ran out of medications because of her & her staff's inefficiency.

BEWARE:Staff is incompetent and does not follow up even if reports indicate a problem. Wait times are often over 45mins. The doctor will rush you and does not take your issues seriously.This is not how a primary care physician should be. Look for someone better...TRUST ME!

I recommend Dr. Santos. She cares for her patients.

Very disappointed that this doctor/office makes people WITH appointments wait ON AVERAGE over an hour - an hour 30 minutes. Receptionist does not speak clearly, sometimes no eye contact. I waited 3 hours for a follow-up AND was charged a co-pay for literally a 15 second glance at my arm.

I will begin by conceding what the other reviewers have said--the wait at Dr. Santos' office is brutal most of the time. And, yes, it sometimes does seem like she is rushing you out as a result. That said, I have always been able to communicate well with her, and I find her to be professional and talented. In a moment of severe illness almost ten years ago, she was very kind--it is a kindness that I willl never forget and I will always appreciate.

Dr Santos does appear to be an alarmist leaving the patient feeling apprehensive.Too many referrals by her leads one to believe there is a profit motive involved as well as too many patients in the office at any given time.A decade ago after a blood test,if you did not receive a call you could safely assume the results were within accepted parameters.Last month while I was having blood taken for a routine periodic test the assistant asked me if I was seeing Dr. Santos that day.Why would I until the results are returned from the lab? Nowadays one gets a call from her assistant a few weeks after the results are in to "come in and discuss it with Dr. Santos".So an apprehensive patient invests several hours of waiting and days of undue worry only to be informed that some test of little consequence is "borderline". This could easily have been handled via telephone except the doctor could not bill Medicare for "CONSULTATION".Not a very professiona move at all.She is a very nice person as… are the office staff in general and the ease of securing a timely appointment is very good.Perhaps that works against us causing horrendous waiting periods once at the office?

The waiting time is always horrendous. 3 hours after work to follow up on a simple blood test is crazy. Every visit regardless of the time of day is the same hours long wait. Each time with an excuse that is just lame. The office staff overbooks the doctor consistantly and they never run even close to on time. The doctor's knowledge seems to be a bit suspect. "Generic drugs are obsolete" was the first thing that made me think this lady needs more training. She is an alarmist ... sends you to a specialist at the drop of the hat. My last "scare" sent me off to another doctor who thought she was totally nuts to even suggest the diagnosis that she had come up with. I found a new primary care doctor who actually sees me at my appointment time and seems like he knows what he is talking about.
