Unfortunately...and this is the case across the board with the majority of doctors on this site, and Medicare.gov, Healthgrades, etc. is that those of us seeking doctors are misled into believing these doctors are "accepting new patients" only to be told be the receptionist that "the doctor is currently booked up and new appointments are not available." the irony of "we are accepting new patients, but we are not accepting appointments for that new patient to see this doctor" is not lost on the person seeking help. It is a catch-22 situation and a terrible waste of time for everyone involved. Doctors, as well as sites like this, should be required to update their information to reflect the true status of their practice such as: "No new appointments are available at this time" or "counseling available but no appointments for medication available at this time" or just simply the most accurate of them all: "currently not accepting new patients"
