Dr. Marja Johanna Sprock

After x4 visits in just 40 days, I’ve decided not to continue care with this office. Despite undergoing multiple tests, I left without a conclusive diagnosis—ironically for a condition I wasn’t even seeking help for initially. It feels like I spent over $1,500 out of pocket (after charging my insurance) with little clarity or resolution. The office seems overly focused on billing. Card fees (even on HSA and debit cards) are inconsistently applied—only cash or check avoids them. In all the cases, I was charged before even checking in. Once you request for receipt or explanation, they mistreat you. Wait times were excessive—over 2.5 hours at every visit. I was left undressed in the exam room for long stretches with no updates. When I asked if the doctor had forgotten me, I was told she was “backed up”. In that case, it would have been more respectful and accommodating to let me wait in the outside room instead (it happened in 2 sequential visits). The environment is also not what I’d… expect from a medical office. While I respect their support for working mothers, having babies in the office during business hours led to frequent crying, which made the experience feel unprofessional. I hope this feedback helps others make informed decisions and encourages improvements in patient care and communication.

I expected a prescription. Instead she said I needed surgery. I have had "repair" surgery but I was told that when they saw WHAT she had done there was a chance what ever they did it would likely make it worse. I was awarded435000. Plus legal fees. She started the filing for bankruptcy. I was lucky to settle for enough to cover legal fees. As for me, now I am totally incontinent. My daughter Michelle gave up her life to take care of me. Where do I begin? The office staff is all new and no-one can give you a straight answer...or a receipt! I was never emailed the intake paperwork prior to my visit. The young lady who took me back asked me questions while I was still filling out paperwork then questioned why I didn't have it all filled out prior to the dr. coming in. When Dr. Sprock came in she and one of her staff members talked back and forth joking about another patient right in front of me. She examined me briefly, made several quick suggestions, then said that drinking water would not increase my ability to have bowel movements. She then got on the subject of how expensive her vet bills were....all why charging me $494 for less then a 10 minute visit. I asked again on my way out for a receipt and was told I could only get it on the patient portal. The portal wouldn't allow me to create an account and I went back and forth with an office person for 6 weeks (!) before she finally sent me something on a blank… paper with no letter head on it. I explained I needed letter heard in order to submit it to my insurance and was told it would be an additional $10 because I was requesting additional admin work!!! (Seriously??) I was contacted by the pharmacy that they had an antibiotic for me. I thought the dr had mixed me up with someone else, because no one had called me with a diagnosis that would require an antibiotic. I called the Dr's office to learn that I had a UTI. I requested a copy of the report be emailed to me. They had gotten the results back 11 days prior ~ KNOWING I HAD A UTI, BUT NEVER CONTACTING ME!! I was given a script for an ultrasound which I scheduled and gave the date to the Dr's office per their instructions. I waited two weeks and finally decided to call them. Again, they had received the results two days after the ultrasound was preformed, but never contacted me to say I have A KIDNEY STONE AND GALL BLADDER STONE!!! I contacted the facility that the ultrasound was performed at to get that information. The Dr's office wants to charge me an additional $234 for a follow up visit. Do your research, I wish I had. She has be let go by Health First and has several malpractice suits against her which she lost. Please DO NOT use this so called Dr!!!

I am very happy to find this amazing, knowledgeable Dr who listens to you and seems that really care. I’ve never had more comfortable experience at the gynecologist, it almost feels like I’m looking forward to go again. 10 stars!!!!!

She is very knowledgeable, you can tell she really knows and understands her field. The Dr. and her staff make you feel comfortable talking about subjects than are often times very uncomfortable to talk about. I would refer her to anybody and will definitely see her again.

I like Dr. Sprock but she may lose me as a patient due to her inadequate telephone system. I called inquiring about a prescription refill that was faxed from a local pharmacy. Two days have passed and after waiting over 30 minutes on the phone in the que of #4 they show nothing came in. I verified fax number and it was correct. I called back and waited another 20 minutes on the phone in que #2 then it went to voice mail. I wasn't a happy camper. It was around lunch time so I'm sure they just sent it to VM and didn't feel like answering. This is so impersonal land I left such a message. I might be looking for a new Doctor. So aggrevating every time you call you get put in a que of at least #4 and wait forever even if you call immediately back it never seems to change.

of this so called Doctor, she is a butcher!! She has had several lawsuits against her for performing unnecessary surgeries, guessing that's how she paid for her new facility. My mother went to her & preformed surgery on her that come to find out she never needed & when confronted with what she had done she was caught changing my moms records. now my mother has problems she will live with the rest of her life. Dr. Sprock was fired from a practice for messing so many people up before she opened her own practice. With all this being said she definitely is one of the rudest people I have ever come in contact with. This woman should be stripped of her medical license!

Dr. Sprock diagnosed my problem quickly and accurately. .I felt she treated me as a person and not just as a patient. I would highly recommend her.

Dr Sprocks procedure had to be repaired by another doctor because it wasn't done well the first time.

Dr. sprock was one of the worst doctors I've ever been to. She was rude unpleasant didn't answer my questions caused me a great deal of physical pain I left there feeling violated I would never recommend her to anyone nor will I return
