Dr. Marjorie K Stock, MD

I'll be honest, I was apprehensive to see Dr. Stock after reading so many bad reviews. She was the only doctor near me who would take a new patient within 2 months, so I decided to make an appointment. Since my first visit, she has acted professionally and with a sense of urgency that other doctors did not have. My initial reason for seeing an ENT doctor was a large cyst in my throat (which no other doctor deemed urgent enough to schedule an appointment for weeks). As it turns out, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Dr. Stock takes every medical issue seriously, and she has prioritized my best interest in every decision for my treatment. She performed a successful hemi-thyroidectomy, and I am now healthy. If you are looking for a doctor who is "warm and fuzzy" and will hold your hand through treatment, find another doctor, but if you're looking for a knowledgable doctor who will give their full attention to improving your health, she is an excellent choice!

I'd actually rather have the plaque than see Dr Stock. She has no bedside manner and I am shocked she went into a profession that requires her to interact with the general public. She was unprofessional and rude to me!!!

First of all it raises a HUGE red flag that this doctor has worked at so many different doc offices. It isn't surprising though considering a simple google search will show you how many negative reviews there are from patients all over the country. The one common denominator is that Dr Stock is a bad doctor. She provides outdated medical advice, and was completely wrong with her diagnosis. The ENT I had a follow up appointment said to never go back to her. I was seen at both the Nashua and the Manchester locations. They are both dirty, dated, and dim. Those words could also be used to describe Dr Stock. I find it appalling she is allowed to practice medicine especially considering her poor bedside manner!! Rude rude rude!!!

The place was difficult to find for me the very first time. The staff is amazing. Dr. Stock on the other hand is NOT she basically scared me away because of her terrible bedside manner. She acted arrogant and condescending towards me and very "grouchy" for lack of a better term. The staff member that I made the appointment with, the staff member that checked me into the appointment, AND the staff member that checked me out all seemed terrified of her. That makes it really uncomfortable for the patients. I am literally going to look for a different doctor because of how off-putting the experience was.

My husband went to visit Dr Stock as she was the only available dr that week. He had lost his hearing suddenly and need to see a dr urgently. She was cold and judgmental of his past, even when he had came up front and honest about it. Because of that, she requested a bunch of blood test, that is unrelated to his hearing lost, all because he was honest and told her what he was doing when he was young. She never did solve his hearing problem, and we don't plan to visit her again.

I have been a patient of Dr. Stock for 7 years now. I have been extremely pleased with her as my ENT all this time. I also have 4 children and whenever there has been a problem, Dr. Stock always sees myself and them promptly. Dr.Stock always sees me on time. Her staff is as warm and supportive as she is. Dr. Stock is brilliant, compassionate, sympathetic, and extremely thorough and concientious. I read the other reviews and frankly I was shocked. Dr. Stock has never made me feel rushed and always answers all my questions, and I ask a lot of questions! I highly recommend her!

Dr. stock is one of the finest physicians I have ever encountered. She is professional, caring, and thorough. Dr. Stock diagnosed a rare medical problem I had which had been dismissed and overlooked by other physicians. She has extensive knowledge and recall of pharmacology, and is also extremely ethical.

Dr. Stock is a really good listener. She is very bright and gives 100% to her patients.

I have seen Dr. Stock numerous times over the years, as has my school-aged son. She is an exceptionally adept physician. While she is not a "warm and fuzzy" personality, she is exremely intuitive, caring, and conscientious in a sincere and appropriate way. Dr. Stock quickly and accurately diagnosed a significant and rare problem I was having, after other physicians dismissed my symptoms for lack of knowledge or tenacity on their parts. I highly recommend Dr. Stock to any wise individual who values a smart and diligent practitioner over a smily face and a touchy-feely persona.

I was referred to Dr. Stock by my GP. I waited in the exam room for 30 minutes to be seen by her (NO magazines or reading material of any kind, by the way). When she finally came in she was curt, hurried and certainly no apology for the long wait. She whipped through her list of questions so fast I'm not sure she even heard all my answers. Then she directed me to another waiting area where I waited another 15 minutes for a hearing test. The test was fine and the technician was friendly and courteous. Then back to the waiting area for another 10 minutes, when Dr. Stock appeared in the hallway to give me a briefing on the results - right out in the open. It made me feel like I couldn't ask questions and that she didn't even have the time to go over the results in the privacy of an exam room. I left feeling like I should have apologized for taking up so much of her precious time. Wish I had known...
