Dr. Mark Francis Abel, MD

Dr.Abel was extremely attentive to my son who needed surgery, after an accident. Dr.Abel was thorough in his explanations and offered to make himself available as needed.

Dr. Abel treats both of my girls for different issues and I have never met a doctor who is more knowledgeable and available than he is. Where other doctors need X-rays, he can just feel where my oldest daughter has issues. With my younger daughter who has more significant needs , he always puts her being a child first. He is always available to me as a parent for any question I have. He spends 45 minutes with us each time and his staff (Karen, especially ) is fantastic . I thank Godnfor him daily.

Dr. Abel is a gifted surgeon who performed surgery on my son for his fibrous dysplasia in 2008. Since his surgery he has had no further breaks in his femur. Dr. Abel is wonderful.

Dr. Abel is so available to us and responds personally to my emails and questions. Even early on when I had looked at a 2nd opinion, he answered my questions about what the 2nd opinion doctor had said knowing that I could have chosen someone else. He is extremely kind and personable. I can't say enough good things about him.

Dr. Abel performed surgery on my daughter for scoliosis. He was professional, courteous, and friendly and most of all AMAZING thru the whole ordeal. He took time with us explaining everything before the procedure and answering questions. My daughter's surgery was a success and her curve is corrected. Her scar is very minimal. I couldn't recommend a more competent and caring surgeon than Dr. Abel. He does teach, so be prepared that he will have residents, interns, students with him at most appointments.
