Dr. Mark Adelman, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Adelman for over 20 years. He is the best pulmonary doctor around he has a great bedside manor and always takes as much time as each patient needs. Sometimes that makes for a longer wait BUT when I need more time with him I appreciate that he will take the extra time not many doctors will do that. It can be hard to get a quick appointment but when you're that good everyone wants to see you. I just ask them to leave him a message after we speak if I need to be soon he has them fit me in. They now have a Nurse Practitioner as well. At first I was a little unsure about seeing her, after all I've been spoiled by him for so many years. as it turns out I love her! She is smart and really cares about the patients. I'm happy to see her when he's not available. His staff was always super helpful and friendly, although he has had some changes with both front office and his nurse. The new front office staff had a little bit of a rough start but they are… really great. His new nurse is super sweet and helpful. I would recommend him and his partners to anyone that needs a pulmonary doctor.

Adelman has been a good doctor, WHEN I've been able to see him. His office staff is rude and incompetent. They always tell you that you have to wait months to see him when making an appointment, and claim he doesn't do sick appointments. When you do wait for the day of the appointment to arrive, the office calls a week before... "Sorry, we double booked." Then you have wait longer. Not worth the hassle.

My husband waited for an hour for his appointment when someone without an appointment, and no emergency, was taken before him. My husband asked that his file be sent to another physician. this was never done. Dr. Adelman may be a fine physician, but his office staff will destroy him

A very knowledgable and "likable" physician. Sat with me and did not stare into a computer. Highly recommended

I have been seeing Dr.Adelman for awhile now. He was recommended to me when we moved from Maryland and that was five years ago. I find Dr. Adelman to be accurate, professional, caring and dependable. I have COPD and I feel that he is doing everything possible to help me. I totally trust this doctor and would highly recommend him. He is one of the best. I would never think of going to anyone else.
