Dr. Mark Stephen Beatty, MD

Dr Beatty operated on me for a gall bladder removal and I never had an ounce of pain or problems after that. He is well respected with the nurses and medical staff at what was Martin Memorial. He operated on me in 1992!! Fantastic surgeon. Nellie Carr Lomauro

I had it the lap band surgery performed years ago and I needed a cell. My primary care doctor recommended him because he's the only doctor in the Treasure Coast bariatric surgery. Dr Beatty asked me why I was getting late and I was honest with him his response to me was to laugh. Yes he laugh at me. I told him how uncomfortable he made me feel and how disgusting that I thought it was for him to laugh at someone who was being completely honest and forthright. I felt very judged and just wanted to leave.

Dr. Beatty is an excellent surgeon, he has done 3 surgeries on me in the last 5 years, recently breast cancer, would highly recommend him.

Could not ask for a better doctor!

Dr. Beatty has operated on me and other family members. He is caring, compassionate, and obviously high respected by all of the hospital staff. Everyone in the hospital said he was an excellent surgeon. Each surgery he has done on my family members has had an excellent result. By the way, in a conversation we had he told me he doesn't golf but is an avid fisherman, so I wonder about the other info in the negative review above...

My mother had breast cancer. Beatty took out the lump, but didnt have time to take out the lymphnodes. All of which we found out, were full of cancer. He had a golfing appointment that morning. Maybe my mothers cancer would not have come back if he had done his job. And she wouldnt have had to spend three & a half YEARS fighting for her life. Chemo 3 weeks a month, 1 week off. Nurses & doctors that I have told this to, have ALL told me that not removing the lymphnodes is unheard of. If it was his mother or wife, he wouldnt have done this. He wouldve made sure it was gone. I wouldnt trust him with my dogs life!

After meeting the on call surgeon Dr.Beatty in the ER we were comforted in knowing that he would take excellent care of our daughter,whereas he did not perform the Thoracic Surgery,which we found out he could have,another surgeon was called by him & that surgeon did the surgery.Dr.Beatty helped us to believe this other surgeon would be best.I even asked if he was going to be there and he said no he did not need to be.He came into check on her after she was in her room in the hospital and he did not have to do that either.We needed him again for arm surgery for our daughter right after the Thoracic surgery with her arm surgery.We trusted him and he performed the surgery and called in another doctor to consult.We knew he would make sure the arm infection was removed,then after the surgery make sure that she would get the best wound care possible.She had to have additonal clean outs on her arm and Dr. Beatty was right there making her feel at ease and she was comforted knowing he would… clean out her arm.Our daughter says he spoke to her each and every time and made her feel assured.She did not want any other Dr.to fix her arm. Whereas she has a deep & wide scar,he told her to see him after some time then he would fix her scar.That gave her a great sence of knowing he cared and her father and I feel the same.In 2008 my husband became very ill,ending up in the ER,it was his gallbladder. Dr.Beatty was not the surgeon we were told that would be available for surgery,we had asked for Dr.Beatty,they said he was in surgery.Well,my daughter & I went looking for him,knowing he would come down that hallway that I spent alot of time in when she was having surgery.The next thing you know he came around the corner,we said his name and he turned around. He immediatly became involved as it was our wishes.I am sure he had places to be but again he gave us the comfort and looked at my husbands case.He is our surgeon and that was what we wanted!I am sure there are plenty of surgeons just as well,but we came to know him as a caring and giving surgeon with no complications.He does what needs to be done and that is a great comfort.We all trusted each other. He knows what he is doing and does it well,and gives it his all.I just found out about this site or I would have posted this sooner. THANK YOU DR. BEATTY AND CONTINUE TO USE YOUR GIVEN GIFT.
