Dr. Mark Steven Brazinski, MD

A surgery was scheduled by mark bruzinski before ever getting it approved by insurance I made plans thru work to get short term while out. And 3 days before surgery insurance denied it. Emerge ortho tried to blame insurance and Once I called insurance was told that the surgeon (mark) did not call and do the correct procedures to get it approved. This was 2cd time emerge ortho failed to do there job. The first time was when we tried getting the mri scheduled and they blamed insurance but after calling insurance emerge ortho did not send correct information so there was 2weeks wasted I called office back and called them out on it. Guess I hurt there feelings to much.then they refused to do anything No problem got it scheduled elsewhere. But if you go see this clown. Verify with your insurance that everything is approved and don’t take emergo ortho word on it.

I popped my left ACL in a skiing accident at age 65. I had the option to choose any surgeon I wanted from Asheville or Charlotte, but I went with Dr. Brazinski. He was local and highly recommended. This procedure is not typically done on patients my age, so I'm thankful Dr. Brazinski went forward with it. The surgery was smooth as was my recovery. Most importantly 10 months post-op my knee feels quite good, not too tight and not too lax. Normal and getting stronger week by week. I'm back to running and playing sports (tennis). I also recently returned to work full time at age 66 after being retired for three years. Because of my age Dr. Brazinkski performed an allograft. I took rehab more slowly because of these factors. The surgery was certainly worth it. I'm no longer an old man with a bum knee. I have my active life back and look forward to maintaining good health into the future. Thank-you Dr. Brazinski.

He was not professional and did not follow up with my surgeries, Everything in my life quality went down after his attempt with knee surgery. The Dr. had to go into my knee not once but twice because of his error in the previous surgery. I could not get him to respond to my calls when staph set in from the last surgery. The limp I developed because of my knee pain affected my back and cost me eventually so many things with my life. I even had to go to a Dr. in another city who had to go into my knee again to try to clean up his mess. Be carefull with him!
