Dr. Mark Daniel Bullock, MD

I loved this doctor. He was comfortable to be around, seemed concerned for my issues, listened to me and my needs, and was well versed with the injury. I happened to enjoy his dry humor instead of the dull business doctor lingo.

I saw Mark for a knee injury and was told that I should wait several months before starting physical therapy, for my knee to "heal," or I could get surgery, "because there is always a surgery option." After a week I noticed a pain increase and went back to him to address the issue and he literally said, "What are you doing here, I just saw you!" after I explained the pain issue. It was clear he was annoyed that he had to deal with me again and I was taking up his precious time. After waiting a few months for my knee to "heal," I went to another orthopedic doctor to get a second opinion. I'm glad I did! Not only did she tell me that I should have started physical therapy right away, but there is no surgery to fix my issue. I need to strengthen my leg muscles and that's the only solution, surgery is not an option. Now I am on my way to recovery, and surprise, my knee doesn't hurt so much!

Worst bedside manner of any Dr. I have ever been seen by. I really think he would retire if he could afford to because he was clearly not happy at what he was doing. Got a second opinion around the corner from his office by a true professional in the field and am well on my way to recovery. 1 word for anyone contemplating seeing him for their injury "Don't".

Loved this doctor. He was candid and gave it to me straight. After seeing a U of MD Doctor, waiting an hour for a 5 minute consult, someone referred me to Dr. Bullock. Much better experience. He respected that I want to hold off on surgery and gave me options but should I need surgery down the road, he is definitely the one who I will go to. Very nice office staff at their Columbia office. Laurel Office that I called first , didn't impress me.
