Been going to over 10 years; think he is great Dr

He is excellent. He actually listens to me and admitted he didn't know something that I did, so he looked it up and agreed with me! Doesn't have a god complex. He's amazing.

Very rude and does not respect the patients feelings at all.

Took my daughter here for 2+ years. Therapists took personal cell phone calls DURING her appointment. Never had less than a 30 minute wait for her scheduled appointment. Staff by far is the rudest and most argumentative I have EVER had to deal with. I've worked in a Dr. Office for years and understand sometimes there are difficult patients they deal with but they are unfriendly, short, rude, and condescending... CONSISTANTLY and every time I went in. Also, on TWO occasions claimed I had the wrong appointment time even though I had the little appointment card they gave me. Unreliable. Rude. What more can I say??

I was 16 years old when I went to this guy and it was an awful experience. He would have my mother leave the room and then ask me questions about sex and told me that I needed to be on birth control. I told him that I was not having sex and that there was no need for me to be on birth control and he continued to push issue on me. He then asks me about the relationship that I was in with my now husband who was 21 at the time. He then tells me that if I am was not having sex then what did a 21 year old want with a 16 year old. This really hurt my feelings as this was someone that I was supposed to be able to trust and be going to for help with my anxiety and depression. Instead he did nothing but hurt my feelings. After he said that about my now husband I told him that I wanted my mother to come back into the room because if he wanted to say anything else to me I wanted her there. If I were going to talk about anything sexual relationship one of the first people I would talk to… would be my mother and I told him that. When my mother came back in he acted different and then when we left that day I told my mother about what happened and how he made me feel uncomfortable and that was the last time I went to this guy.

Office staff is unprofessional and downright rude. Year after year I just came in every six months to get refills...nothing was accomplished or changed...quit going and didn't even receive a call to make sure I was okay

Very controlling, abuses authorityoverall tragic experience

I really like Dr. Casdorph's personal manner, but after 6 years of treatment, I was not properly Dx'd. I had to go through an overdose and hospital stay in order to receive a correct Dx. This was supported by doctors at the National Institute of Mental Health. Also, I often had to wait 1 1/2 hours for my appts, often having to reschedule after wasting a work lunch. Such a shame. He is a nice guy but even after my overdose, I couldn't get more than 15 minutes with him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Casdorph for 2 years and he has consistently been very helpful. He listens and considers patient input in the treatment process, and spends quality time during appointments(which may be why a wait; however, it is worth it! I have recommended him to all who have inquired about a child psychiatrist!!
