At my final appointment with him, I had been experiencing pretty severe edema. When I told him about it he said "I can't imagine why that would be happening." He didn't look at me at all, just said that and nothing else. I took the hint and left, never to darken his doorway again.

I saw Dr. Crick for about a year. I thought he was good at first, but when he should have been getting deeper into my health issues, he seemed to be withdrawing from them. It might have helped if I could have logged on to the Patient Portal and seen my test results, but I couldn't. I spoke to him about it and he told me to ask at the front desk. I did that and the person I spoke to there seemed quite irritated with him for sending me to her. I never did get logged in. Dr. Crick also seemed overly concerned about me scheduling an appointment with the hospital for my blood work. The reason I go to the hospital instead of having it done right there in the office is so I can go when it's convenient for ME, but that seemed of little concern to him. Once during the time I saw Dr. Crick I was trying for the third time to express to him issues I was having with another doctor I had to go to at the same time, but in Savannah., He told me he hoped I didn't go around town telling… other doctors that he sucked as a professional. After that what started to happen seemed like a self-fulfilling prophecy. I would go in with my list of things to discuss with him and he would announce that we were done before I had addressed ANYTHING on my list. I called him out about it but he claimed not to understand what I was saying (Can you say MANSPLAIN IT TO ME?) He is an older, white, Southern man and that's exactly what he acts like.
