Dr. Mark Harrington Davino, MD

Moved over to Dr. Davino after my previous PCP moved out of the area. I could not be happier. The staff is great - he spends the necessary time with me listening/discussing issues with me. Very knowledgeable - glad to have found him and made the switch.

I've been a patient of Dr. Davino's for over 10 years now after finding him at random. I went to the doctor initially for what turned out to be a mild toe sprain and from there I made him my family physician. Since then, we have discussed everything medically from footwear that alleviated my foot pain (do to running) to the recommendation that he made that most assuredly saved my wife's life. When he found out that my wife was pregnant with my daughter (our final child) he congratulated me, and I responded him "...and congratulations to you on getting another patient!" He gets a high recommendation from me and my family anytime.

He was clueless. He told me my chronic, severe pain was simple arthritis due to my age. I was only 52 and had exercised regularly my entire adult life. I knew he was wrong, so I went to a rheumatologist and was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, a severe form of arthritis that has nothing to do with age. Because of him, my treatment was delayed almost 2 months. All he had to do was send me for a CBC and he would have seen that my inflammation was sky high.

Spent no time with me and rushed me out of the room!

Dr. Davino became my primary physician several years ago. I am happy with him and have referred him to my family. He listens and is attentive to his patients. I have never been misdiagnosed or had any bad results from any treatment or medication. He is prompt and I have never felt rushed when talking to him. All in all, I am very satisfied with him.

My son has seen Dr. Davino twice, not sure if he was having bad days but our visit did not reflect other positive comments on this site. He was rude and abrupt, cutting me off in mid sentence when I tried to explain symptoms my son was having. Very dismissive. We just transferred here from California where my son was seen at UCLA for medical conditions, so not sure why Dr. Davino thought he should dismiss UCLA's diagnosis. Additionally, on the second visit during a physical he refused to talk about any medical issues that my son was experiencing that was not on his physical check sheet stating that I had to make other appointments if I wanted to discuss anything else. WHAT?? Aren't you suppose to talk about medical issues during a physical?? Will NOT be seeing this Doctor again!
