Dr. Mark Arey Deaton, MD

Appointment was more than 2 hours behind and a quick look at reviews shows this isn’t an uncommon occurrence.

Dr Deaton is a great doctor who cares about his patients. We had an emergency and he went above and beyond to get a diagnosis for my husband that day. Even staying late. His staff did to. The only bad comments were from impatient people who left after waiting 1 hour.Doctors run into unforeseen circumstances treating patients. We feel so lucky to be a patient of Dr. Deaton’s. He is a fine man and great doctor.

Amazing experience. Dr. Deaton is so personable. He always takes as much time as needed to explain medical details. Would highly recommend him to friends needing an ENT.

Followed up with Dr. Deaton for CT sinus results. He said continue antibiotics as the CT was fine. I had been on antibiotics for two years for a sinus infection previously. I asked the receptionist for the report on my CT Scan and she stated their office had not received it yet. I went to another ENT and learned that I had MRSA and Fungus in my sinuses.

I have been seeing Dr. Deaton going on 18 years now. Couldn't ask for a better or more patient person. Always takes time to answer any questions. He also put tubes in my sons ears. He is one of the best ENTs I have had. I have had a lot!!

Dr Deaton removed over 100 polyps from my sinus cavities. My wife had many questions both before and after the surgery. Dr Deaton took extra time to explain the procedures to be used, recovery and plan to keep it from happenning in the future. I later had an ear problem due to a scuba diving incident and the staff "worked me in" so I could see the doctor ASAP. I have been to other ENT's before but none since my wonderful experiences with Dr. Deaton.

Dr. Deaton is very personable. It never matters how many patients he has in the office, when he's in with you, he makes you his only priority. I've being seeing him occasionally over the last 15 years or so in Nashville and my mother and I have always been so impressed by him. I highly recommend Dr. Deaton!
