Dr. Mark Earnest Didier, MD

Great Doctor!

He seems okay, although I am exceptionally healthy and haven't had to be "examined" by him yet. He is just another doctor that my health care provider referred me to so that my infrequent visits would be covered.

Dr Didier is the caliber of what Doctors used to be years ago. He gave my Mother a thorough exam, like she has never had before. He was precise, to the point, and nailed it on the head! This was the 5th time in 2 weeks that I had brought my Mom to a Dr., Now, we are finally getting somewhere!

Dr. Didier seems to spend most of his time either typing, or looking at his computer screen. It feels as if he is only half paying attention to you. He gets this blank look on his face, like he's somewhere else. That is when you fear he is not really listening. This is a normal pattern as we've seen him several times and it's always the same. Communication with your Dr. is VERY important and he is terrible at it. He pretends to listen, but doesn't hear. Very frustrating and we won't be back.

Although nice enough, this doctor seems to think that everyone who is in pain and needs treatment is simply trying to gain meds to either 1. sell them illegally or 2. is an addict. I do not know if he is under pressure from is superiors, has been lied to and taken advantage of, or what the problem is... but it is not fair to those of us who are legitimately in need of pain medication to have to deal with his paranoia! It may be that he needs sensitivity counseling of some sort. Also, it's a shame that the first reviewer above needed to "convince" Didier she was not some kind of addict when he first saw her in order for her to get proper treatment. That is ridiculous. Legitimate patients who need treatment shouldn't have to deal with the extra stress he is adding.

Visited for a new patient appointment. Voiced my concerns told him family history. He did listen. But when it came time for tests he pursued his own agenda instead of addressing my concerns. A good doctor would have accomplished both.

I HAVE BEEN SEEING DR. DIDIER FOR ABOUT FIVE YEARS NOW. AFTER GAINING HIS CONFIDENCE THAT I AM NOT A DRUG ADDICT, WHICH HE WOULD HAVE KNOWN IF HE WOULD HAVE LOOKED AT MY PREVIOUS FILES FROM CALIFORNIA, HE DID START TO GIVE ME THE MEDICATIONS I NEEDED. MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT IS THAT HE HAS MISS DIAGONOSED ME SEVERAL TIMES. THIS LAST TIME I ENDED UP NEEDING A DOUBLE CERVICAL FUSION. HE SEES THAT I HAVE FIBROMYALGIA AND CHALKS EVERYTHING UP TO THAT. I NEVER RECEIVE MY TEST RESTS, BUT HE IS ALWAYS SURE TO SEND THE BILL! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE WITH A MEDICAL HISTORY.
