Dr. Mark Stephen Fleming, MD

In 1988, I was about to be involuntarily medically discharged from the Army. I found Dr. Fleming, then a Major in the AF at Wright Patterson AFB. Maj. Fleming fused me at the C-5/6. I was able to continue service and eventually retired. Later, he did R carpel tunnel and still later another fusion at the C-6/7. This man is dedicated, will explain in terms you can understand and he is a Miracle Worker !!!

Dr. Fleming and his staff are a 5 star. The staff is courteous and very helpful. Dr. Fleming is one of the finest surgeons i have ever associated with. He explains everything from start to finish. His knowledge is above par due to experience. He does not tell the patient what they might want to hear..he tells you as it is. As far as surgerical work goes he is a solid 5+. My wife and i both had spinal fusion done and came out great. We have no complaints whatsoever about him or his staff.

1st Honor & Glory go to God and then to the Anointed Mind and Hands of Dr. Mark S. Fleming. I suffered from back issues since 2003. In Austin, Texas I was seen by 2 Pain Management Specialist and the last looking me in the face suggesting, "Learn to just deal with it". Saw a Top Rated Neurosurgeon that stated, "I was basically too fat to fix". Returned to Illinois running from opiates and worse to get introduced to Dr. Fleming. He took the time to ask me what was going on, how it made me feel and what course of previous treatments I have had and ordered x-rays, ct scans and even ordered Nerve Conduction Study. He then came to a course of action which he took the time to explain to me each and every time I had a visit with him before the surgery took place. I'm 1 month POST-SURGERY & all I have to say is......"Thank you Dr. Mark Fleming and your Amazing Team and Nursing Staff on the 4th Floor Unit.....Nurses Brian & Tabitha, thank you so much for ALL you did and your… encouragement. Dr Fleming was so thorough when explaining the procedure to me. He was very caring to my family and I. This man knows what he's doing! The moment he saw my films he knew exactly what needed to be done. He got me scheduled in a very timely manner, and now I'm back up on my feet pain free and loving life! Thank you dr. Fleming!

From the start, I knew Dr. FLEMING was the right man for the job. He diagnosed my problem accurately. He took the time to explain all of my options. When I made my decision, he explained the steps to be taken not once but every time I saw him before the surgery. After surgery on my follow up visits he would show me my xrays and explain what was happening along the way. He was thorough, and straight forward. He told it like it was. Now, 15 months after surgery my back feels like it did when I was a teenager. By the 6th month I was back doing things I did before everything happened. I thank GOD and Dr. Fleming on a daily basis

Due to his horrible surgery he gave me, I now have to have a second surgery.

Dr Fleming performed my spinal decompression, on my birthday, Sept 2014, Happy to say, I had no complications. He is the most kindest doctor and spends time explaining the procedure and answers any questions, I love him, for I am almost completely recovered and have returned to work. I thank God for guiding his hands to "fix" me so I can resume a normal life.
