Dr. Mark Norman Friedman, DO

I would be so happy rating no stars or negative stars for this man. I was referred to him by my primary care regarding migraines and blurred vision. An MRI is done, and I'm told, "There are changes in the white matter of your brain from the migraines." Alright, I can deal with that. Then, he wants a spinal tap to determine if I have papilledema (pressure on the optic nerve from elevated spinal fluid pressure). I get that done and return to him. He prescribes a medication I can't tolerate during a 30-second appointment where he acted like I was inconveniencing him. The only thing he said was that I did have elevated spinal pressure and to take the medication. This was in 2022. It is 2024, and I returned to my primary care due to balance issues, issues with motor skills, and dizziness. Another brain MRI is done. My primary care made it a point to push a quick appointment with a different neurologist. (I tried to return to Friedman, but I wanted a different doctor in the same practice.… That's against their policy. I wonder why?) I saw a different neurologist. Guess what... I have multiple sclerosis. Those "changes" in my brain were lesions. They are also down my entire neck and spine. Maybe if I'd been told that all the markers were present for it, treatment could have begun. Instead, I'm brushed off until I see an entirely different neurologist (Lencke) two years later, and I'm losing my ability to walk. I hope this man lives the life he deserves because I certainly won't.

I am a new patient, had my first appointment with Dr. Freidman, it was terrible! I seen his internist for most of the visit , only seen him for under 5 mins. I was ordered to get a scan of my brain, and was promised a call from the Dr with my results. He never called me. I had to play cat and mouse, constantly calling the office asking when someone will call me with results. The receptionist seem to know more information than the doctor's nurse, told me my case been forwarded to a neurosurgeon, because it wasn't Dr. Freidman's specialty. So frustrated with this place!!!!! waste of time when you are constantly in pain and cant even get no results for treatment.

I saw Dr. F a few years back after a horrific accident and he was very standoffish. He was very cold, and didn't seem to care about me as a patient let alone someone who had been badly injured. I'd ask questions and his responses were very cold and very uncaring. He always seemed to have a nasty bedside manner

Run... he does not communicate with you. He has a dry grouchy personality. You'll be lucky if he spends 10 minutes with you. I found a new neurologist who spent an hour with me & in that hour he came up with a diagnosis. Friedman will take your money but tell you nothing. He is a waste of space.
