Dr. Mark Louis Ginkel, MD

Dr. Ginkel came highly recommended. Office building smells old and musty. Staff is curt and does not follow through for patient to get authorizations submitted before taking 3 week vacation. Closed on Fridays and things fall through the holes. Doctor Ginkel is the only doctor who ever looked at medical reports from previous cardiologist in front of us. Their website makes promises the office does not keep. A Monday morning angiogram was done and nothing was found, but Dr. did not even have the chart with him. He has a great bedside manner but has obviously lost the dedication due to lack of money being made with our HMO insurance.

I'm so glad I had Dr Ginkel last year I had 3 Aorta Aneurisms in my chest. Dr Ginkel didnt mess around he sent me to Stanford so they could do the surgery. But he's been there and make sure he gives me the best care. I would Recommend to anybody that has heart problems.

He cares, he's personable, extremely informed, proactively thoughtful about care, treatment and needs, gives appropriate patient feedback , e.g. " very kind about reminding I/we have responsibility as well!"

One of the kindest most knowledgeable doctor ever. Took the time to listen and examin patiently so I didn't feel like a number in a cattle call. Great bedside manner and courteous staff. Dr. Ginkel cares about his patients and I would recommend him to any of my friends and family members. Also, he caught something that every other doctor missed. Proud to have him as my Cardiologist.

Great bedside manners, easy to talk to and great followups after your appointments. Dr. Ginkel listens and answers all questions to make you feel comfortable. All family members with heart issues are send to him now because he truly cares about his patients. Highly recommended.

Dr. Ginkel is not only very smart and accurate with his diagnosis but a genuine nice human being who takes the time to listen and be compassionate with his patients. I have had nothing but good experience everytime I visited him, he answered all of my questions and followed through post procedures. I highly recommend this Doctor for any of your Cardiology needs, there are not too many doctors that treat their patients like one of their own family members.
