Dr. Mark William Gordon, MD

I had 3 visits with Dr Gordon to remove hemorrhoids he was very informative and I still have one more to do. HOWEVER! i will have to go elsewhere because of terrible customer service. I work night shift and was scheduled for a Tuesday 9:00am appointment. My work schedule changed and had to cancel the appointment. I called on Sunday and only spoke to a call center who could not accept appointment changes. She told me to call during business hours. I called on Memorial day and had the same response. Tuesday morning I called around 7:30 and there was a different recording which prompted me to leave a message and I did. I received a call from the receptionist around 1:oopm stating I missed my appointment and would be charged a $35.00 fee. After explaining the timeline of what had transpired, she, continually talked over me while I explained how this was unfair. When I asked to speak to the doctor to see if he could override these charges, she stated that " the doctor has no time for… you". The doctor professionally is very good and I would like to continue with my procedure, however due to his unprofessional staff, I think I will have to look elsewhere. Thank you Robert Saccocio

This doctor is good, but their policy and bill's management are dishonest. His staff will never explain you all the charges they may apply to you. After few weeks you will receive a bill for unexpected things like "Cancellation fee" if you can't make it to an appointment. I've read many other reviews online, and I found that there are lots of people in the same situation, They have received a variety of different unexpected charges. This is not ethic. I'm a low income person and still managed to paid my consult in cash (As they require if you don't have insurance) for the amount of $350. I couldn't make it to my next appointment and therefore they charge me $35 dollars for cancellation. If I didn't have the money to go to my appointment, how come I will have to pay $35 dollars for nothing? I feels like they just take advantage of the poor...
