Dr. Mark Robert Gordon, MD

I saw Dr. Gordon for the firs time to address a kidney stone, after an initial visit he sent me home with meds to help me pass the stone. About 9:30 that evening my phone rang and it was Dr. Gordon inquiring about how I felt, after a brief discussion he told me to meet him at the hospital. He was there most of the night dong a procedure to make sure I did not have an infection . Dr. Gordon is compassionate caring old school guy, he gets top rating from me.

Nice enough but I felt like a "time slot" ... not a patient. Knowledgeable, efficient. He knows his stuff. I just did not make a strong connection to him and Dr. Bryant his office mate was amiable but had an aloof manner. If you don't need the gentle human touch/sensitivity than they are adequate, clean, and professional. Accordingly the last time I saw these guys [ they were in the middle of an office move, all was in disarray, and there was real stress among the staff w/each other. Perhaps it was the move? They were both decent men ... I just wasn't feeling the love

This is the second doctor I have seen that is associated with Suncoast Medical. Both providers were terrible. I was the only patient in the office that day. He spent approximately 5 minutes with me, leaving to go dictate notes. No answers to problems address. Was send to him from primary care provider for expert advice and advice given was primary care doctor doing well managing care we will let him handle it. My wife and I are nurses so we see all types of providers. My wife who is a nephrology and urology nurse was furious of Dr. Gordon's lack of standard testing for urology complaints. Take my advice as a nurse stay as far away from any provider associated with Suncoast.

I had an interstim implant. All my questions were answered, and Dr. Gordon is very knowledgeable.
