Dr. Mark Thomas Goulas, MD

I already knew Dr Goulas as an excellent ophthalmologist, (I'm a nurse and previously worked with him at the Outpatient Surgery Center on HHI) but what makes him exceptional, and my choice, is his kind, gentle and friendly manner. Additionally, the team at Goulas Eye also demonstrated the same care culture. A special thank you to Trina, who handled my urgent request for care.

Dr. Goulas and his staff are the best. I had an excellent experience from the time I called to schedule until the end. His staff is very professional and the exam was thorough. The doctor takes his time to explain all the issues and answered all of my questions. Do not hesitate to make and appointment to see him as you will not be disappointed.

I haven’t been to an actual Opthalmologist in years. The staff was welcoming and efficient. I don’t was amazed as we went from room to room, machine to machine. Even with glasses they could only get my vision to 20/40. Surgery to remove my cataract was scheduled within 7-10 days and the 2nd 2 weeks after the first. The 1st eye is 20/25 with no corrected lens (Medicare approved lens) and I can’t wait until Friday to get the second lens. No pain, no irritation, I couldn’t ask for anything better. I highly recommend Dr Goulas!

I WANT TO THANK ALL OF THE STAFF AND DR GOULAS FOR THEIR KINDNESS AND EXPERTISE. I HAVE HAD BAD EXPERIENCES IN THE PAST WITH OTHER PROVIDERS HOWEVER, I FEEL CONFIDENT THAT I WILL BE RECEIVING EXCELLENT TREATMENT FROM GOULAS EYE.

Schedule an annual eye check with this ophthalmologist and then get a bill that he doesn't take vision insurance..he files medical....I mean he is an opthamologist. I know he does eye surgeries but I was there for an eye exam only. Is that for more $ or what?? I was stuck with $200 bill when I should only pay $20 copay for vision check. Very upset at that. Plus he was rude. High and mighty attitude, too busy to listen to why I couldn't be dilated that morning.

This Dr. absolutely had more important things to do than help with eye problems.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Goulas. First, his surgical expertise is second to none. He removed cataracts from both of my eyes with wonderful results. My vision is the best if has ever been without glasses. He also does the surgery in a way that I did not have to use any drops!! His bedside manner is so kind and loving. His staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to recommend his for any eye problems, and particularly if you need cataract surgery. Just the best.

Had problems with right eye after surgery. This continued for several months until I finally went to another doctor for a second opinion. Problem was sutures had been left in eye.

Dr. Goulas, Is a very good doctor, I had an eye emergency on a Sunday and he was at the doctors office to assist me in thirty minutes. He is very down to earth, prompt, professional and very caring.
