Dr. Mark Thomas Gurley, MD

I went to see him for tonsil stones and he said he couldn't see them. I clearly could see them before the appointment and when I got to my car, I looked again and I could still see them. He won't be operating on me because he apparently has vision loss.

I saw Dr. Gurley 6 times last year. Each time, I would write out a detailed report of what had gone on with my ears and dizziness. Each time, he totally ignored me. He tried to say (as I now he does with many) that I had Meniere's Disease. I told him my dizziness did not fit what the dizziness of Meniere's is described as. I got worse and worse, with huge complications. I now know I have a rare life-threatening autoimmune disease which all of my symptoms matched. He scoffed at me when I told him how my ear would become red, painful and swollen. He should have put it together, but did not! He did not even scope me, if he had, he might have seen the cartilage degeneration.

Dr Gurley does not listen to his patient, makes a diagnosis before looking at me, said hearing loss, took his hearing test, NO hearing loss, had no concern or compassion as he walked out and down the hallway saying he would do testing for the vertigo & dizziness in a day or two, receptionist had no appointments available for weeks. He didn't care! I quickly found another ENT!

Dr. Gurley and his staff are awesome! Due to insurance, I needed surgery before the end of the year and they got it done. I'm so very grateful.

In a rush for surgery...got another opinion that surgery is not their first option...seemed disorganized, and a real lack of customer service....after too many problems with the staff and a telephone system like Fort Knox...we moved on...after we blew up..and became" angry" for having them waste our time...You are just a number there....never met the Doctor...dealing with the office staff raised my BP
