Dr. Mark has been an amazing doctor and a very approachable person to consult with. The journey of hospitalization is not a one that anyone relishes about, but with Doctor's like Mark Hanley on your side it definitely becomes soothing and hopeful. Surgery was scheduled and cancelled. Carmen said machine was broken, but she had failed to schedule the radioogist. Dr. made a 4" incision to remove a 5 mm calcification. First he said it was not cancer and a week later there was an "addendum" and it was. I have consulted with four specialist, who gasped at my scar. Save your breasts and go to a real surgeon who specializes in breasts. He is a general surgeon, who professes to know breasts! This was a nightmare!

My schedule is very busy. Taking time away from my business to go to a doctors office is difficult for me and the 30 people who depend on me. But I need surgery. So I moved mountains and arranged my schedule for the consult after another doctor recommended Dr. Hanley. Day before, his office callas an cancels and asks to reschedule two weeks from now. I'm not available then and really don't want to put off this surgery any further. Looks like I'll be finding a doctor who keeps his appointments, first and foremost.

Recently moved to Florida from NY. Was diagnosed with hernia prior to moving. Found Dr. Hanley thru my insurance and after a little research, scheduled my appointment. My initial introduction to Dr. Hanley raised some concern because Dr. Hanley acted as though I was an old friend when he entered the examination room. We had a 10 minute conversation about me and my life before addressing by injury. He almost seemed too relaxed. However, by the time my appointment ended over 40 minutes later, I realized that this is just Dr. Hanley's general demeanor. I was thoroughly examined. I was explained in great detail what to expect before and after surgery, as well as the risks of delaying the procedure and the risks of undergoing surgery. By the time we finished, there wasn't a single question I had when I entered the office that wasn't answered BEFORE I ever had the opportunity to ask it. My apprehensions evaporated and I found Dr. Hanley to come across as extremely… concerned for his patients, empathetic, confident, and very relaxed. We concluded the appointment with surgery scheduled for 2 weeks later and Dr. Hanley's business card. He informed me to call any hour of any day prior to surgery if my hernia became strangulated and he would meet me at the hospital to perform the procedure rather than subject me to an ER surgeon who didn't specialize in this procedure. It's been one week since my surgery and everything has transpired EXACTLY as he predicted. My follow up appointment is in one week. Based upon my experience thus far, I would highly recommend Dr. Hanley without any reservation whatsoever. Another plus is that the staff at his outpatient facility (Brevard Special Surgery Center) could not have been nicer or more considerate. I would also recommend this facility. I consider myself to be a tough critic. So this is a well earned review.

I waited for over an hour for both of my appointments. During my last visit Dr. Hanley came in and hadn't even read my chart! I felt like he had no idea who I was and he was impatient when I didn't understand why his diagnosis was confusing. He told me very conflicting facts from the first appointment and when I read his notes he had the location of the cyst wrong in several places. I am currently under the care of another surgeon.

Dr. Hanley is an excellant surgeon. My procedure went very well. I had little pain and a goood recovery. His staff are also excellant and helpful in many ways.

Dr. Hanley is a very kind-hearted, caring, doctor. He knows the latest medical techniques, and he goes above and beyond to provide his patient's with premium care. Thanks for being there for our daughter and taking good care of her when no one else was willing to tackle her problems.
