Dr Hartzband and his team are the best, they replaced both my knees and one hip. I do not limp and I have my life back. They are caring and they watch and care for you like you were family.

Dr Hartzband performed replacement on my left knee about 12years ago and I do not know it is not my own knee unless I kneelwhich I refrain from doing since I get a pins and needles sensation doing so. I would recommend him highly to anyone needing surgery in his field, he is the best. My recovery was quick and after about 6 weeks was able to return to my job, the reason for the quick recovery was I walked in a swimming pool for 45 minutes about 3 months before surgery and this was a recommendation from him and it worked! You are the best indeed~

If knee replacement is what you need, Dr. Hartzband is the way to go. Very knowledgeable, confident, and competent. However, after surgery he does not care/treat his patients well (not at all sensitive as a human being). His staff's attitude also changed - very impolite and rude. This may be because he performs too many surgeries and is good that he does not care to be polite to his patients post ops. Do NOT go with his recommendation for outpatient PT to a place called "SportsCare of America" They are NOT the best, and must have some arrangement with Dr. H's outfit to earn his endorsement.

If you are having problems with your hip there is no better surgeon in the North Jersey Area than Dr. Hartzband. He has written the book on hip replacement surgery.

Dr Hartzband recently performed my second knee replacement. He also performed my first. Having had numerous knee surgeries over the years, Dr Hartzband was able to remove some old hardware and he also was able to reduce the width of my exiating incision. He is very professional and you know when you have surgery done by Dr Hartzband, you are confident that all will go well. Without a doubt, he is the only surgeon I would consider doing any joint replacement.

I have had two hip replacements with Dr. Hartzband. My recovery time has been excellent, and I am very pleased with everything about the practice. It's a well-oiled machine, run by very nice and professional people.

I had double knee surgery in 2002 and although I was hesitant to do this Dr. H. convinced me and it was the very best recommenation. His follow-up was very good and caring. I progressed exactly as he said I would and I was able to go on a vacation across the country by myself after 3 months. The surgery was extremely successful and I feel like a new person. He has given me back my life and I am very grateful to this excellent physician. Also, his assistants are very knowlegable and caring.. I recommend him highly to anyone who needs knee replacement surgery.
