Dr Heinicke is an excellent rheumatologist. I have gone to him for 10 years. He spends time with you, and is thorough. He is always familiar with the newest treatments. He is an incredible advocate for pushing the insurance company to give you the medicine you need. His staff are derelict. They are rude, and never give him messages. They said I had to pay money before he would see me (from my last visit), when in fact they had not even filed the claim yet (and, I have 2 insurances that cover nearly everything!). Once, I was in the room across from their desk, and I heard them saying really mean things about me. I went home and cried. But, Dr Heinicke is so knowledgeable and compassionate, that it is worth putting up with those horrible women. I gave 3 stars for 'follows up after visit', ONLY because they never give him messages when you call.

I have been a patient of Dr. Heinicke for over fifteen years and I love him. He is very knowledgeable in the areas of lupus and ra. The wait time is long but well worth it. He spends a great deal of time with you explaining the different things going on. I personally love the staff. I find they are always helpful and are concerned on how I am doing.

He is a great doctor and i like how he explains everything and takes his time with you but i dont like his staff they are very unfriendly and rude everytime in go in there they make me feel bad and i dont like the wait time everytime i go i spend 3 to 4 hours waiting which is absurb, and just because of his staff im getting a new rheumatologist no offense to Mark he is a great Doctor but i dont like the way his staff treats me

Time from arrival to the time you leave is at least 3 hours. Staff, other than nurse Linda, is not friendly at all, always rushed & don't seem to have time for you. Linda the nurse is amazin & sweet, love her.Dr. Heinicke takes his time & talks to you & listens very well, just don't seem to go out of his way much anymore to find alternative medications for my RA.have been going to him greater than 10 years & still have no answers for the last 2 or 3 visits & they haven't returned any calls

You might have to wait a while in the waiting room, but when it is your turn he will take all the time you need! Well worth the wait!

Dr. Heinicke listens to your complaints most of the time.Staff are friendly sometimes, but most of the time they are not.
