Dr. Mark Alan Hewett, MD

Arrogant, flippant, dismissive, judgemental. This describes my impression of Dr. Hewett during my visit as a prospective patient. Truly unsatisfying and problematic experience!

Needs to work on bedside manner- Felt like I was a bother to him. Very dry personality.

I felt rushed throughout my time at this office. I have not required much medical care in the past but this doctor did not explain things adequately in my opinion. He put a "scope" in me and I had no clue what he was doing since he did not explain what this was and what he was going to do prior to doing it. It was painful and bled a good bit.Then, he presently 3 alternative treatments for my condition in about 30 seconds, one of which was a surgical procedure at a hospital. As I was walking out of the exam room preparing to see the cashier I walked past an area where he was sitting. He decided I would need an expensive test that seemed unrelated. Again, he did not explain why this test was suddenly so important. It would have to be done at a hospital. His demeanor was detached and not personal ... like I was a lab animal.

it worked, he did a great job. Recovery went well and there wasnt much swelling.
