Excellent doctor. Caring, expert, highly recommend.

I've had mixed r results with this doctor and recently switched. He never had much for bedside manor with me, in fact I don't think he liked me at all. I came to him with a history of recent psychiatric problems as well as preexisting injury from a car accident which I told him about in detail. He did not seem to take my plethora of health concerns very seriously, and In my 2nd appointment I was told "You're 27. You're in good health." I was hospitalized a few months later and he seemed shocked. The appointments were very short and he usually got out of the room within 15 minutes or less, without asking if I had any other issues to address. I would always have to stop him on the way out to bring up secondary concerns. Ease of appointments was very nice and he they were prompt- however the office, though they have some wonderful women at the front desk, suffers from bureaucratic issues, making transferring records a very difficult and timely process. Dr. Jacobs is probably a great… doctor in many ways and I respect his experience and ability to assess and diagnose problems, but on the whole I had unacceptable issues with him and the office and I cannot recommend going here.
