Dr. Mark Jason, MD

I was transferred from another doctor to Dr. Jason and i was a patient for several years. Meanwhile my RA got worse and he had no solutions except continue to give me a medicine that wasn't working for me. After a year of this i decided to switch but the damage was already done. He never had solutions, it was always sorry this is how it is, nothing you can do about it. Also he always had his doors open there is no doctor patient privacy, everyone could hear his conversations.

I have been a patient of Dr. Jason for seven years since 2011. I have had no problems in the service I have received at his clinic. The employees have been very pleasant and helpful. Dr. Jason has administered my infusion with consistency and accuracy. He is an admitted entertainer. He enjoys performing as an aside. This has not distracted from his duties. He is pretty pragmatic. If you want to be swooned, forget it.

Its sad to see all of these poor reviews for Dr Mark Jason! Mark Jason is very smart and very experienced at his job. I was referred to him when I moved to new insurance (Medicare). I had been seeing anther Rheumatologist in Mission Viejo. From the beginning I was very comfortable going to his office, which is small and intimate. His staff is wonderful! They are all super nice, responsive people! He right away helped me with my condition and I was able to get on Embrel, which stopped any issues I had with arthritis. His staff helped me find a a way to get it at a much lower cost! They let me try samples first to make sure it would work. Every time you speak with him or his staff, they go out of their way to be helpful! (Chris and Terry are great!). Dr Jason can be direct (and some people do not like that). He will just tell you what is going and he doesn't try to cover everything up. My wife started going to him also (cash patient) and she loved the fact that he is straightforward and… doesn't beat around the bush. In short, I would not hesitate to highly recommend this Doctor! This is a true review and I am his patient (a very happy one!)

I helped my ex get to her appointment with Dr Jason last week. She has suffered from lupus since being diagnosed in 1985. My former wife used to be a patient of the excellent rheumatologist, Dr Brian Andrews, who taught at UCI. When Dr. Andrews retired to return to his native Australia a new doctor was needed. Sad to say, that doctor was Mark Jason. What an earth shattering difference between the amazing care she was used to and the horribly neglected care she has been subjected to by Jason. In over 10 years of going to him never did she receive a physical exam from this sham of a doctor. Seeing her every six months, it was obvious the appointment served no other purpose than to legitimize the drugs prescribed by this poor excuse for a doctor. Less than a week since seeing what we called Music Boy ( he fancies himself a muscian.) my ex has been hospitalized due to a major flair up of her lupus. My contempt for this man knows no bounds. What a useless human being. A curse on you and… your house, you miserable excuse for a human being.

Dr Jason is the worse Doctor I have ever been to in my 65 years. He has no tact and his manner is horrific. I am surprised he still has patients. There is no encouragement on his part at all. I would recommend you don't go see him. I would love to give this a negative rating if possible.

Dr Jason is unfit to practice medcine and is a harm to patients. He hit on me and I was disgusted. He was so casual with my condition kept laughing and making obscene gestures. I will seek care from a sain Doctor! Please be careful during visits with this man, ladies.

After my dad was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis we picked Dr. Jason because he happened to be located right down the street from us. At first he was ok but after a few years his treatment and office staff became very dismal. He would send lab results to us through email but wouldn't explain what the results meant. We always had to call back to get clarification. He started taking on so many new patients that when my dad saw him he would not be able to spend enough time listening to his concerns. One time I sat in on one of his consultations and it was apparent Dr. Jason had recently become obsessed with Dancing with the Stars and wanted to try his hand at dancing. We thought this was really strange, considering my dad has a debilitating disease and he should be focusing on helping patients. I convinced my dad to find a new rheumatologist and he his much happier now.

He was very dismissive and condescending. He told me to come back when my pain was worse. At that point in time my hands hurt so badly that I needed help eating and couldn't put on my socks by myself. Thank goodness I then found a wonderful rheumatologist in Newport Beach and remained under his care.

I forgot about my pain in knees, in hands, in elbows... at first meeting with the doctor, even his talk makes me calm. I like his approach to patients, his method of work. He works easy and all his staff work good! Good job! Thank you very much Dr. Mark Jason and his staff!

I can not begin to express my disappointment! Both as a dr and just as a human this dr let husband and myself down. Please please do not trust this doctor with something as important as your health. Just to name a few things: he told my husband he was fine and then after being told by other drs to go back he completely forgot that he told my husband he was fine and said I course you have severe Ra who told you didn't? Ummm??? Should have been our first sign! But we are very young and were scared! We finally smartened up and after 2 years w this man got another dr who looked at my husband for 10 min and have a different diagnosis. Not only is this dr rude but seems to be very disinterested in his job now and I would say incompetent. If good medical knowledge and care meant dealing with a rude dr I would have my husband see him forever but when it comes to misdiagnosing not even reviewing chart and med history that's just wrong! Look out for yourself and do not see him and if you do I… advise you to seek a second opinion on whatever he says it's very sad when you can not trust a doctor w your health
